“Don’t come back to Ghana”: Ghanaians slam Ayew for missing penalty vs Uruguay

Ghanaians have criticised Andre Ayew he made a horrendous miss from the penalty spot which would have put the African nation ahead in their grudge match with Uruguay.

The Black Stars were awarded a penalty after Mohammed Kudus was brought down by goalkeeper Sergio Rochet.

After A lengthy VAR inspection, German referee Daniel Siebert pointed to the spot, and Ayew stepped up to the spot.

The Ghana captain stood over the ball for several more seconds only to take a poor low shot that Rochet easily stopped.

Ghanaian fans took to Twitter to criticise the Al Sadd forward whose missed penalty would prove very costly for Otto Addo’s side.
