“Goats Moment” – Messi And Mbappe Shares Hugs After Argentina Win

Lionel Messi shared a moment after the game between Argentina and France, consoling his Paris Saint-Germain teammate Kylian Mbappe.

Both players were outstanding in the final of the World Cup, with Messi scoring a brace while Mbappe netted a hat-trick in a thrilling encounter.

In the end, La Albiceleste goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez made the difference after his penalty heroics helped the South Americans dethrone Les Bleus as world champions.

Messi ended the tournament as the best player, while Mbappe walked home with the Golden Boot award.

Just before the two players climbed the podium to receive their awards, the veteran striker was seen consoling his teammate while Mbappe took the opportunity to congratulate his teammate and Argentina coach, Lionel Scaloni.

In a video shared on social media, the duo looked satisfied with their performance on the night.

Argentina are world champions for the first time in 36 years, after last winning the tournament in 1986 under the leadership of Diego Maradona.

Messi is yet to make a decision on his international future, having stated before the World Cup this will be his last time wearing the sky blue jersey.
