Barcelona Star Memphis Depay, Quincy Promes Display ‘Insane’ Football Skills on Dusty Pitch in Ghana

FC Barcelona forward Memphis Depay and Quincy Promes are having a worthwhile holiday in Ghana after the Dutch duo were sighted exhibiting incredible football skills in a kickabout game.

Memphis is back in Ghana as part of his customary visits to the West African nation in the summer after a long season with Barcelona and the Dutch national team.

In a video posted on Twitter, sighted by Sports Brief, Memphis and Spartak Moscow winger Quincy Promes thrilled the crowd gathered at the Madina School park with some amazing football skills.

The former Manchester United and Olympique Lyon attacker, Spartak Moscow’s Quincy Promes, ex-Liverpool forward Rhian Brewster and Edgar Davids, formerly of Juventus all took part in the kickabout.

The said game was played on the dusty field for Memphis and his friends to have a first-hand experience of playing on a typical turf in Africa.

it appeared they had the time of their lives while showboating on the grassless pitch. It is worth noting that the game [Memphis XI vs Salisu XI] was completed on the Madina Astroturf.
