We encourage all members of our community to reach out to the team and help equip them for a successful season.” the school said in a post that came with photos that captured Tyrone Marghuy sitting among the school’s NSQM team.

The post has shocked many over how Achimota School initially refused to admit the brilliant student because of his dreadlocks. “The chief cornerstone was once rejected. Wei! Why do this to ourselves,” a Facebook user wrote.

Another said “Shame on yall, the guy u were dragging around bcoz of Locs is the one making u proud,” with one Dr Yaw Opoku adding that “Eeeiiii. This guy prophesied that he will be there to represent them. Indeed, he has fulfilled his dream. Rasta! Hard guy“.
