EXCLUSIVE: Check out Black Stars’ starting XI to face Nigeria’s Super Eagles

Interim Ghana coach Otto Addo is likely to field a strong starting XI to face the Super Eagles in Friday’s 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying double-header.

Ghana have two absentees for the game with midfielders Edmund Addo and St. Pauli midfielder Daniel-Kofi Kyereh both ruled out of the game due to injuries suffered at the training grounds.

Kyereh, who was one of Ghana’s brightest spots at the 2021 AFCON, did not take part in Thursday’s final training session due to a leg injury. He was filmed being helped to the Ghana bus.

With the duo unavailable for the game, this is how Ghana is expected to line up against the opponents.

Starting XI – Richard Ofori – Denis Odoi, Gideon Mensah, Daniel Amartey, Alexander Djiku – Thomas Partey (C), Baba Iddrisu – Fatawu Issahaku, Mohammed Kudus, Jordan Ayew – Felix Afena-Gyan.
